god that would be horrible. It took me 3 days to drive from NYC to Chicago.

Yeah, it's a pretty shitty way to go. I mean, honestly, monetarily speaking, the only way I would've gone to Chicago is via train (I am NOT paying for a flight), but in order to do that, I'd have to take an extra two full days for travel (It's a 22 hour train from Boston to Chicago on Amtrak). Even at that, it's still a good $166 round trip. If I'm going to spend a full day in a coach seat, I'[d best be on the other side of the fucking planet when I deboard.
