Now that I'm sober again, a serious question: Does anyone know hoch much money I'd need to actually do this?

Depends how long you were staying. I am guessing it would cost about $1000US for flight alone. Jury is still out on hotel prices. Add to that food, event, and booze costs and I am guessing that the weekend portion would run you around $300-500

In terms of money, I don't have to pay for accomodation when I go to Boston next week but I've budgeted for US$1,500 spending money at barest minimum. I will probably not be buying that much stuff. It will be a frugal holiday.
Liz:
I got by really cheaply in Toronto. $125 for transportation, $90 for the hostel, and about $100 for food/shopping/etc. It can be done!

So I am guessing that I need at least 2000-3000 Euros. I have about 1000 Euros right now. I see a problem!
