I have only skimmed through the thread at the moment because I'm in my uni library and I've got lectures to go to and such, but I should have the internet in my flat by the end of the week so I'll be able to catch up then. Basically I am good to go anytime in August provided I don't have to do any resit exams but on the offchance that I do they can be anywhere between the 10th and the 28th of August (I won't know for certain till July or something) so my preference is for earlier in the month, which seems to be the general consensus anyway. I shouldn't be doing any resits (if I am I have really fucked up my degree) so whatever.
Incidentally I'm thinking I will come to the US for a week or maybe 2 but if Chicagocon is happening later in August that'll be the last few days of my trip, if it happens from the 31st of July to the 3rd though It'll most likely be somewhere near the middle. Whatever, that is not really important.
I'll get on gabbly to plan hostels such as soon as I've got the internet in my flat.

I doubt I'll be financially disciplined enough to manage to go, but I'd much prefer the second & third week of August to the first and last.

Anyways, I'm totally up for any weekend since, you know, I kinda live in the city. So I don't care where the hotel/hostel is 'cause I'll be staying at home.
