i'm currently listening to a load of random post-rock and post-metal with a view to making a CD for my grandmother, to whom i described said genres as being "a bit like classical music or sometimes subdued jazz, but with rock instruments." she seemed interested, so i'm gonna see if i can't convert her!

On a related note, I am listening to Gregor Samsa - Track 2 (they have an EP in which the songs don't have titles).

Finally downloaded Merriweather Post Pavilion, less abrasive than Strawberry Jam but still stronger sounding than Feels.
