I've been really into easycore or whatever the kids call it these days, as of late. I'm addicted to this one With the Punches song. I love pop-core, but only if those shitty synthesizers are absent. I guess with the exception of the Wonder Years, but they toned them way down on their most recent efforts.

you mean the idea of a greenday/weezer hybrid or the song itself? because i find it difficult to believe anyone could listen to that song and not at least raise the beginnings of a smile.

i'm currently listening to "Can't Take This Away" by Hold Tight! which you can download for free on bandcamp. I was directed towards it by a guy (presumably from the band) posting the link on punknews.org. really good melodic hardcore/pop-punk!
