What kind of animal would each character be?

Is it cold in here?:
Marten is like a golden retriever. I read a horrible story once about someone who threw a rock at a golden retriever. The dog picked up the rock and brought it back to him.

Faye would be a Siamese cat: intelligent, constantly making biting comments, apparently aloof but fiercely loyal when a stranger mistreats a family member. I was giving one friend a back rub when her Siamese walked into the room. I've never seen an animal snap to alert that fast, and you could practically see a thought balloon over his head reading "Do I have to tear this guy's throat out, or is this a consensual thing?"

Raven reminds me of a puppy.

Penne-lope, well this is a stretch, but maybe a horse. Strong, quiet, patient, lots of unused potential.

Dora is harder to place, and I'm drawing a complete blank on Steve.

What about Sven? He's not violent enough to be a tomcat.

Pintsize is clearly Coyote from Native American myth.

Any theories about Hannelore?
