Chesire Cat:
Instead of taking part in this debate and adding to the growing number of people on this board who hate me, I leave you with this.
stupidsongs2:
QC had the N-word? How'd I miss that?
Cartilage Head:
No, a person was USING the n-word to describe characters in the strip. There weren't any n-words used in the comic.
Roivas:
Personally, I still don't get why people refuse to use nigger or cunt, or other highly offensive words in the context of discussing them. I think words are important but the IDEA behind a word is really what we should be trying to fix. The hate, ignorance, and stupidity that surround such words is what we should attack, not a couple letters strung together.
I've seen a lot of these posts pop up on other threads too, they are offensive, mostly because of the ignorance they perpetuate. Perhaps if we [non-racists] were more willing to try and attack this problem from a different angle we could end stupidity of this type.
Yeah, and maybe next we can prove there is no god.
Anyhow, I am sorry about using such offensive words, but I am trying to make a point about how they're really just words. I mean crackers are just crackers when you eat them.

Of course, and we can use them (well, not on this board!) to discuss them - as in Wikipedia's excellent article on Show Boat, for instance. However, the posts that left this thread in their wake were not that kind of discussion of anything in QC, but out-and-out trolling.
