Tai's problem...

(1/2) > >>

Shmee:
...is easily resolved.  Sue Johanson suggests using plastic wrap.

Ta-da!

Vilecat:
There are some non-latex gloves, exactly for people allergic to said rubbery substance ;P

sylvar:
If Tai is allergic to latex and doesn't know about cutting a latex-free nitrile glove to make a safer-sex barrier, you've gotta wonder whether she's infection-free at this point.

ThePQ4:
Honestly, I never even considered dental dams at all until I went to an Out@Stout meeting and our president (who is organizing a Safe Sex talk for the LGBT Month, later this month) said something like "I think everyone needs to know how to use condoms and dental dams"...and I'm like, "Wow, I never thought about lesbians needing to have safe sex too..." I'm sure Tai is -careful-, she just chooses to have unprotected sex with people she knows well (or well enough...) then to take a precaution due to her allergy.

And why do we always have to tear down these kinds of topics in the comic?? I mean seriously...it's a -comic-. It's not really meant to be thought provoking (at least not this way...)

redgiemental:
I hate to be a dick and ruin a good premise but you can get polyurethane condoms and i presume polyurethane dental dams (or make polyurethane dental dams from polyurethane condoms) for people who are allergic to latex....
