Hockey !

I am not a huge hockey fan, but I have been to see the local team several times in the past.
On a side note, my mom freaks out when she hears the word Hockey. Something about it sounding like something disgusting. Hockey puck... My mother is strange.

[rant]I don't really watch hockey much, mostly because the NHL has been criminally mismanaged over the years and because I lost the Stars as an 11 year old. Seriously, how the hell did Minnesota of all places go several years without having a professional hockey team? It's nearly as dumb as the reckless expansion and the fact that they moved so many teams out of Canada and into southern states, alienating some of their strongest fans, breaking up rivalries and banking it all on a lucrative television deal that never materialized. I mean, yeah, I realize that in the short run owners were missing out on potential earnings due to the currency disparity, but that's kind of a non-issue these days, innit?[/rant]
The Wild are slowly dethawing me though, stupid team name and all.

The red wings of course. It helps that Datsyuk and Zetterberg are attractive. So far there doing okay, but its a little early to tell. They lost the first one :x and won the second. :-)
