Question.
« on: 16 Dec 2008, 12:28 »

I see you guys talking about techno. Is this electronica? Or is this something else?

What are you guys referring to when you say 'techno'?

Thanks.

On the one hand, it's a term that seems to have been ubiquitized as a catch-all for electronic-sounding music.

On the other hand, search.

Man, not all electronica is techno, but all techno is electronica. Right?

Dammit. The title of the thread brought this song to mind:

If I truly am responsible for bringing those two affronts to music to mind...well then...I apologize profusely.

In my perfect world I don't even know that kind of crap exists. I sorry.

And I am opening those tabs and closing them before the music starts. Thank goodness for my slower-than-usual connection.

One day, a fraction of the people that like that stuff will look back and say "I can't believe I ever liked this stuff..." and they'll be righteously appalled with themselves.

A larger fraction however, will love it til the day they die.
