Failing that, Jeph could have just been looking at old comics and thought "hey, for continuaty's sake, I'm gonna give Faye some clothes she's already worn before"

 He has done this before. Jeph is pretty good at outfitting his characters. If you've noticed, he'll even have them mix and match shirts and stuff from old outfits. I've always thought that it is a pretty good touch.
