I really, really liked that speech. He had a fire in him, a passion, and the puppy line was hilarious. But when he started about Things That Are Kind of Bad that This Lady Went Through, I started inadvertently humming We Didn't Start the Fire. I totally related too, since according to my state issued ID, I am 107, which is older than her.
It really bothered me that during McCain's speech (which I also thought was pretty good two, and I only noticed two "my friends"s) the people kept booing really loudly when he'd mention Obama or Biden. That didn't happen during Obama's speech, but then again it's a lot easier to be gracious when you win.

I wish I could've seen the live broadcast of that speech. I got chills up my spine just reading it on the computer screen.
I posted this in the other thread, but I want people to see it, so repost for great justice:

It was one of the most difficult things I've ever done, sitting in my little office while in the next room miners bitched about the white house becoming the black house, etc., watching that speech and holding back tears.
I have to say that, if Obama does nothing else in the next four years, bringing back visioncasting to the Presidency will be worth every moment.
Liz:
Dovey I did not get to watch it live either, but I did listen to it.
Also it is up on youtube already, or at least parts. Here is the first bit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dkUsojBhTc Hopefully they will have the rest up soon.
