Jesus, what a pain in the arse! No wonder you struggle to get people out and voting in the U.S. In Australia we vote for a local member in the House of Representatives, and a state Senator. And that's it. If we want to we can put a number next to every single candidate, or just vote for the single person we want in each position.

I'm voting no on our issue to get a casino. They decided to NOT have it help with education, so now there's no point, IMO.

Seriously, I know it's very limiting and feels weird in a thread technically about politics, but running off one's selections and such is just asking for political debate in a thread that's not meant for political debate. I've created the separate thread in the Discuss forum explicitly for that purpose.
