Yeah, nearly 100 comics ago.  It's the Society for Creative Rock Anachronism.

It was like Jeph thought of something really good, but then the awesomeness collapsed on top of him, or he got bored and indulged in character development instead. I don't mind that it disappeared; the comic went on great as usual, I just get curious when things go all jimmy hoffa on me.
