Secret Santas -- UNVEILED

<< < (50/61) > >>

jmrz:
For all the people stressing about their package not arriving, here are some notes from my experiences:

- Sending from Australia to the US takes about 14 days, the closer you get to Christmas, the longer it takes.
- Sending from the US to Australia takes about the same, sometimes a little longer than two weeks, depending on what type of postage you use.
- Sending from Australia to the UK takes a bit over two weeks.
- Sending from the UK to Australia takes a bit over two weeks.

I am really not sure about UK-US postage, but I assume it would be faster that UK-AUS etc.

I am sure all the packages will get there eventually, but the closer you get to Christmas, the worse the postal services get.

Ladybug:
And as for things from the US to Norway, it has taken everything from 1 week to 3 months for me, while stuff from Hong Kong usually takes about 9 days, stuff from the UK to Norway takes about 10-14 days... I just got a DVD from the US on Saturday which had an ETA of January 3rd and was ordered a little over a week ago. Soo, basically, it is all a mess and makes no sense. And then you add in the Christmas-factor.

Dear Puki,

Did you receive the second half of your present yet? I'm worried that only one package arrived.

Love,
Your Secret Santa

Oh. bugger! I'm sorry I haven't replied, it arrived three days ago, but I'm in the middle of moving so had no time to notify. Both presents are great! (thank youuuuu)
I'll post pictures as soon as I manage :)

Patrick:
God I feel so shitty for my person. Let's just say that shit got all kinds of complicated with me, and it wasn't the kind of thing you can ever really plan for.

When the slacker list is eventually revealed, I urge my Secret Sant-ee to not be too upset with me, I totally had no idea that such a clusterfuck would be made out of every possible thing (and I do mean everything) relating to this whole exchange on my end of things.

fatty:
Dear Secret Santa,

I'm dying of anticipation, Please hurry!

Dear Patrick, if you know 100% that your package won't be sent, why don't you just tell them, and make it up to them later? It seems silly to make them wait!
