Please help: My motherboard gets power but no output or POST beep

I live by the if it ain't borked don't fix it rule for bios updates, I know I should and people say to do it but stuff can go wrong so I don't. I cannot update bios now anyway :/

BIOS would be the first thing I'd consider testing, especially if you haven't updated it in awhile. Use your old CPU to boot into disk.

Old cpu had same problem.

could be your power supply, not enough power to go around?

That was what I thought, but if it doesn't work even with the old CPU that's probably not the case.

Sounds kinda like you fried your motherboard? Did you use static bands when replacing the CPU? Did you touch anything you shouldn't have?
