Ive been told its not really painting because i used masking tape to create a faux silkscreen type style.  You might remember me for those wacky masking tape sculptures.

That's pretty neat! I like the crisp effect from the tape, is the paint thick enough that there's an edge at the border of the tree? or is it flat?

Theres about 3 coats of black paint, but for teh most part its fairly flat.

Ooh. Very nice. I  still think its painting, but honestly, its a matter of opinion.

nice. I bet you could get some pretty neat effects, like if you cut the tape into different shapes with an exacto knife or something... hmm maybe I'll have to try something similar yet another project for the list  :wink:
