I will be spending my second Christmas ever away from the parents - last one was because they were in Europe, and this one is because I'm hanging out with the "in-laws" instead. I will be getting cheap presents for people because I need to save for my month of no work in January!
Also working at a supermarket guarantees that you quickly grow to despise all forms of Christmas carols, especially those performed by pop stars.
