Greatest rock band of all time.

Discuss.

(Ref. 15-year anniversary DVD "Red Idol" or 20-year best-of "Golden Black" CD if you don't believe me.)

I saw them on Adam and Joe Go Tokyo, they were alright. I can't really remember it much but the audience really enjoyed it.

They are awesome as Hell and occasionally silly.

Watch the movie Wild Zero.  Oh my God, that movie.  It's probably my favourite film of the "Zombie alien invasion rock-n-roll punk gang love story" genre.

It also has the best ending twist of all time.  NOBODY I know has watched it and not gone "WAIT, WHAT THE, NO FUCKING WAY" at one particular major plot point.

DO NOT read ANYTHING about the film before you watch it because a lot of summaries/reviews completely spoil it.

One of the only bands I know that puts volume warnings on their albums. Excellent, excellent band if you love loud and hard and fast and sweaty rock music, served exclusively in dingy shot glasses.

The volume label on their album only made me want to turn it up louder..... BAD FUCKING IDEA.

I got Planet of the Wolves off of iTunes (a mistake considering that the band's volume is lowered apparently) after gorging myself of Melt Banana (apparently many people listen to both bands).

Don't go listening to Guitar Wolf expecting Melt Banana, and vice-versa.

That being said, I like these guys. A lot. Definitely a band to listen to when you need to go all the way to 11.

Yeah, Guitar Wolf, as loud and messy as they are, are basically a rock band.  You could call them garage-punk but garage-punk is by definition just traditional '50s/'60s rock played louder and faster.

ALSO I MEAN IT GO WATCH WILD ZERO THEY EVEN SELL IT AT LIKE BEST BUY AND SHIT NOW.

I saw them. Awesome. Also, they did like 5 encores but my dad wanted to leave after two
