Plushes
« on: 24 Nov 2008, 20:49 »

I searched for threads about this and the only one I found was from 2006, so I didn't want to bring it back. However, if that would be appropriate, mods feel free to move it there.

Who makes soft toys? Please post pictures. Here are mine. I'm getting back into it after a multiple-year break.

Roscoe and Aquafina. Made by trying to make monkeys out of socks that weren't Rockford Redheels. Lesson learned, toys made!

Betty Lou and Bram Wellington. The felt on her dress is crooked as fuck-all due to my inexperience on the sewing machine (as opposed to by hand) and my unwillingness to use pins.

Little dinosaur. Grazing on cast-off carpet with my birds, his descendants.

Thank you!

What's funny is that the dinosaur is far and away the easiest thing out of those posted. All it took was a cookie cutter, a freehanded spine and a gusset piece. But I'm glad you like it!

These are from a series. There are more and a whole new series that aren't stand alone dolls but these were the only pics I could find online of them. Can check her gallery Bogda at http://www.flickr.com/photos/shopbogda/

Also sock-puppets!!
