Don't worry, I don't take it too seriously. Most of what I asked was in a sarcastic way anyways. :-P
We all know that having indie music info wouldn't get me an Indie girl. They require that you -dress- Indie too, and I'm far too stylish for that.
But in all seriousness, I am asking for selfish, semi-poser reasons. I can't memorize band names. Or songs. Ever. Never been able to. My brain is wired to memorize books, math, but names are very hard for me. So when my firneds discuss bands, or music in general, I'm left out. And it's really hard when someone you're just getting to know asks you what your favorite song is, or which band you listen to most, and you can't tell them, because you dont know.
So, I know its a bit of fakery, using what you all know, just to join in on conversations, but I'd trust in the taste of this forum, rather then the taste of anyone on Wikipedia.
After all, you like the comic.
Made up band names? That is...brilliant. Violently Fracturing Habiscus. Singer is Adolf Zelpin, an ex-skin head with a voice like an angel. Lead guitarist transferred from the Inert Radical Hypotni when his band fractured over who got the green M&Ms. Interesting note, the drummer's mother was well known to have slept with everyone from Blue's Guitarist Mendon Trucks, to the entire security team for Kiss.
