Thrillho:
That's true. Something with a big beat and heavy bass can really wake you up in the morning. I choose 'California Love' myself. The original with the piano and horns, not the remix.

Hell yeah.   I have to get up early every day for my Minimal Change Disease treatment and I just bounce really heavy bass and hard beats to get up.    Music rules.

spoon_of_grimbo:
"Too Close to See" by Strung Out.

Mainly for these lines:

"Sometimes you get too close to see a whole different side of what life can be...
And if you stare too long it all becomes a blur and it's easy to forget just who we are,
Don't stare too hard, take a look around..."

I can be feeling absolutely shit, and those few words will put things into perspective.  I'm planning on getting "Don't stare too hard, take a look around" tattooed, as part of a design that my friend's made for me.

Uber Ritter:
"Pink" and "Electric" by Boris (okay, the whole album), "Rainbow Bridge" by the New Grass Revival, "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" by Black Sabbath, "Slip Inside This House" by the 13th Floor Elevators.  "Bad Dream Mama" by the Eagles of Death Metal.

tania:
deerhoof's green cosmos ep has had a 100% success rate thus far
