Sometimes I wish I could lock things up so that people couldn't post until they've had X amount of time reading other posts and couldn't start a thread until they'd been here for Y amount of time and posted Z number of times.  Or maybe some kind of Karma thing.

Anyway, the "nice guy" bullshit has been discussed here many times before.  You can be a nice person without being a doormat, being an overly nice person then complaining about being taken advantage of usually means you're being nice because you expect something in return, which is not actually being a "nice" person, it is being a manipulative person.
