Mainstream age range? What's wrong with a little diversity? Sure, the younger, less mature characters may get a tad annoying if they're permanent, but that just gives Faye yet another reason to be snarky/bitchy. And if Dora kills Kiaya, she and Hanners won't become friends (and yes, I'm still hoping for this :-P )
bhtooefr:
Also, for the late 20's stuff... um, Hanners? She's 22.

One.
I maintain that keeping this girl around for a little more, ESPECIALLY as a potential new lady-love for Steve, if he's not still with Meena (I think that was her name? Seem to have forgotten her, mostly...) since even though Ellen was a little ... odd, she was good for him. Whereas Meena has him constantly freaking out.
Two.
Mainstream age range?
Okay. Yes, the MAIN main characters are older (I don't know if I would say late twenties, though...), but what about Tai? She's a main character, if not in the little CoD circle of people, and while, yeah, Randomly Unfortunate Freshman Female (hey, if you can call Kiaya, I can call her Ruff) is a little younger than Tai, she could still be a plausible and interesting addition for a longer arc than just the day's torture victim.
And isn't that Greek show about a bunch of frat boys or whatever? Okay, no. QC will NEVER turn into that. With Marten working at the all-girl COLLEGE library, though, you've got to expect some college girls to show up, and a couple maybe to become a regular appearance, if for five strips or thirty.
Curiously -- exactly how old is Raven? I don't know if it's just her personality/attitude, but she's always seemed much younger than Dora, even if they were in the same 'coven' or whatever, before.
Three.
It's a swoooooord.
As in, big sharp thing that looks like it belongs in a Final Fantasy or D&D or any other related game. Who cares how heavy, how big, how Dora got it up there like that, what's it called? It's a sword, and it gives Dora that wicked awesome I'm-going-to-slaughter-you gleam in her eyes.
I vote we just call it awesome, leave it at that, and marvel at the amazing women of QC. Especially Dora who can wield a sword like that with such ease, and Faye who can see her best friend about to behead a college freshman and just pass off the post-murder clean up to Penelope.
Kugai:
Yes, yes, alright - I made a typo.
*Mutters imprications about Typo Nazi's*
It's corrected now . . . .Happy??!
:-P

WHOA! How'd I forget?! Jeph is a Genius! That's some long set up! (Dora pulls it from right under the counter, where it always was!)
(btw, I think I fixed your hyperlink in the quote)
