I was going to offer my spare room out on here in case someone in MDish area wanted to stay closer, but ended up having people sleeping on every fairly soft surface in my house that night so it's probably for the best that I did not.

I almost wouldn't want to be there, the crowds at Hogmanay in Edinburgh this year were bad enough, and that was only 100,000. Imagine how panicked I'd be if it were 3 million.
