The International

Based on the trailer and tv ads, I think this has a legitimate chance to be one of the worst big-budget action movies ever. I'm really, really, really bored of the lone gunman vs. the global, all-seeing, all-knowing conspiracy bullshit. I vote for immediate legislation to end Clive Owen's acting career, barring him forevermore from stepping in front of a camera and woodenly stumbling through his dialogue.

I like him in I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, although that may have been more a function of the directing than anything else. Oh, and those BMW shorts The Hire, those were good.

But he was great in Shoot 'Em Up....I've seen the trailer twice now and I think it looks heinously bad.  He's also starring in a TERRIBLE romantic-action-espionage film about them ripping off 40 million dollars from...some chemical company or something.

But guys, c'mon! There's a massive shoot out in the Guggenheim. That's like...the best building a shoot out could be in. I mean that's pretty awesome, no?

I'm a big fan of the ATM screen in the television ad that has "Murder" listed as an option.

I like Clive, but I've heard nothing good so far concerning this movie.  Naomi Watts certainly isn't hot enough to draw me in, so...

yeah, i liked Children of Men (more for the cinematography than the acting, but still), and also Mr Owen was good in Sin City because he played a sociopath so he didn't have to emote very much.

this, however, i don't care about but will probably still end up seeing anyway (my friends do not have very good taste in movies).

Also I would like to point out that the combination of Sailor Moon and faux-Kerouac / Sonic Youth spelling is perhaps the purest distillation of what this forum is that we have yet been presented with.
