Anyone know of other good ones?
jimbunny:
Awwww, yeah!
When I went to the state science fair in eighth grade, there was a kid there who had made biodegradable clay pigeons. Apparently, they went on the market at around the same time.

I was expecting this to be a thread about inventions you made as a kid that were completely awesome.
E.g. Playmobil figure + little silk thing + strings = ZOMG CHEKC IT OUT I HAVE A PARATROOPA!
Or the time we gathered ridiculous amounts of carnival toy-gun rounds, wrapped them around a stone in the floor of my friend's terrace and lit it on fire.
We were great friends afterwards, just like before. The terrace was not quite so lucky and never returned to its previous form.
More on topic, there is this 16- or 17-year old kid who invented a new way to enter your PIN digits into an ATM.
Instead of punching keys which you can spy on, you get one of these displays that you can only see through straight and you get 4 random numbers and use a little dial to adjust them to your actual PIN.
Quite clever.
Spike:
The comments on that article point out that such a thing was already invented. Good work though.
Reed:
The difference is that he used ultraviolet paint, so humans won't be able to see it. The ones that are already in use use black paint, so I would imagine they really don't look good in a window.
However, if these do become popular I want to round up a group of friends and ride through neighborhoods with high power UV lights in the middle of the night!
