Write a press release (google for the layout). Call up and ask for the relevant person (what section your story would be going in). Make sure to be very enthusiastic, excited, and use lots of positive and superfluous words like "fantastic, incredible" etc, do the same in your press release. It'll be quite likely that the person you want to talk to is busy, so get their contact info (phone, email) and try to talk to them later (ask when a good time to call would be).
