I am so lonely.
I am so lonely that I hang out with my friend who has a thing for me and has an actually crazy girlfriend who thinks we are sleeping together and calls us both at all hours to see if we are.
I am so lonely that I go out with dudes who I have only met once at a party or whatever and end up having a really awkward goodbye that involves kisses and then I can never see them again because I am a taken lady and cannot have kisses.
I am so lonely I befriend the most boring person at my new work and promise we'll go out to see Star Trek.
I am so lonely I wait for my absent boyfriend's friends to ask me to come hang out and then never show up because I am too shy.
I am so lonely that tonight I am going to a warehouse party with a dude I have only met once whilst he was dressed in drag and he will be the only person I know there and I do not even know who is playing or what a warehouse party entails and god I hope he doesn't try to make kisses because my conscience is fed up.
I want my boyfriend back.
