Reed:
Today, I decided to skip work and slept until 1pm

Tonight, we are going to the Hartford block party.

I think this is the definition of a good friday.

ViolentDove:
I have a Killer Hangover and have to turn my house into an opium den for a photoshoot. asfsadfgfhhtsg

Oh man, ran into a friend* at the mall and his new girlfriend, bad timing apparently. They were caught shoplifting and basically the next 15 minutes me and the other guy I went with spent trying to not get involved. What was wierd is that they we ran into them at all, neither of them live up there so I'm not sure why they even chose to go to that mall, its not even as good as the one close to home.

Also got my ears pierced, but not by the piercing Pagoda because they use a gun and their selection sucks and I wanted to use the 14g blue metal horseshoe spiked ones that I purchased previously. Ended up my brother had a friend who happens to do piercing as a hobby, and he was really clean about it and the needles were single-use sterilized needles and shit and washing of the hands and stuff. My left ear hurt a ton because I think he was just doing it at the wrong angle, right ear was way easier. they look awesome and I'm super happy, left ear is a bit sore still but its all good. Got a lecture in how to clean it too, sowed my mom who's just worried that I'm going to forget to bring along alcohol and cutips to clean it while I'm in France. If no one has noticed I have had a couple cans/bottles of courage juice, and so I may be a little drunk. This post could probably fit under the tattoo thread, the blog thread, or the drunk thread, but my decision making skills have decided to put it in here. I'm going to drink more now.

Congrats on the piercings!

But for the love of god don't use alcohol. That is a  terrible idea. These are the things you will need:

Sea Salt
8oz cup
teaspoon
Shot Glass
Warm Water

Put a teaspoon of salt in the cup, put in warm to hot water, stir it to dissolve and then pour some water in a shot glass to soak the earlobe. Soak it a couple of times per day and make sure to rinse it off to make sure you get the salt off. If it's angry you might up it to 3 times a day, but otherwise just leave it alone. Alcohol is in general going to do a lot more harm than good by irritating the hell out of it. Good luck with the healing!

Lines:
Or if you don't have a shot glass, use cotton balls soaked in the saline. That's what my piercer told me to do as it's easier than shot glasses.

Blog thread! Today I slept in due to being out late drinkin and singin last night and then I killed some weeds, plugged bee holes in my porch, and played with my kitty before he decided he wanted to stalk bunnies and I threw him back in the house. Also, my best friend is in town, so I took her out and we had a marvelous time. We had pub food and stopped by a bookstore so she could grab books for her daughter. I picked up Pride and Prejudice and zombies, yay! Tomorrow I have work, bleh, and then will be taking said best friend and her husband along with me to Rocky Horror with a friend and coworker and we will have jolly good fun.
