The main reason people loved "Everything I Do" was because it was the song from the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. It's hard to fathom these days just how popular that film was back in 1991. Especially the arrow-cam shot: folks went wild for that bit.

Actually, I saw that movie in the theater with my grandfather. It was the Best Thing. The trip I mean, not the movie; I was 9 years old, plus nobody else was in the theater so I could leave my seat whenever I wanted. I also found a $20 bill on the floor which I used to buy icecream and a ninja turtle. Best. Trip. Ever.
