I was going to say how much I wished for housemates who dewey decimalised their books but then I realised that my housemates don't read books.
Ally, do you like delicious dark chocolatey coffee-y beers? Might I suggest Toohey's Old or Carlton Black, which both represent as hella bogan but are in fact mighty delicious.

My desk is much much emptier than a lot of yours, but my work/reading space is kind of out in the middle of the house so I try to keep it fairly neat.
Note the crazy tapestry covering the awful bland wall, we rent and are not allowed to paint so it's the next best thing.
Bookshelf! Nothing really of note, but we inherited a lot of books from Chris's dad so it's nice to have a big wall of books you haven't already all read through. Complete with glass head and a pink elephant I sewed!
I will show off my pog wall and demon mask if anyone actually wants to see them, don't want to clog up with too many pictures in one post.

You see some filing, music (mostly piano and organ, but some scores, vocal and instrumental stuff too), some LPs under the music, CDs. Books are further round (both ways); more music too. The clock was my grandfather's; he was given it by a grateful parish on leaving his first curacy.
Mess!
My desk at the back is much as usual. This was taken while we were having the kitchen rebuilt, so my grand piano is on its side elsewhere, and its space taken up by temporary kitchen things. The floor is covered with electrical cable and gubbins because I was rewiring the new kitchen myself. The keyboard is a Kawai MP9500.
