--- Quote ---if you have anything neat on the walls anywhere in your room and/or house i'd like to see that too.

That's a bus panel ad for the Fellowship, I honestly can't remember where I got it. But it's tacked to the wall outside my room.
mooface:
oh god so since i'm in the middle of moving, all my shoes were packed away. to take this photo i just grabbed the ones that were most easily accessible. there are at lease 5 more pairs that are still packed away/lent to friends at the moment.
i uh... i think i may have a problem.
and to continue the shoe theme i want to see sam's, kieffer's, andy's, shane's, liz's and ally's favorite pair! (although anyone who has particularly rad shoes should also post theirs)
Patrick:
These shoes have basically disintegrated, Mai, but I still have them.
I should order more Chucks to draw on, it's always nice to have every pair have it's own personality.
Drill King:
Okay Mai, so I scrutinized and thought about it.. And here is the shot
Are my favorite shoes for various reasons.
Red ones in the front: most expensive shoes I will ever own, handmade red italian leather, 700 dollars, a present? God damnit give me that money for school auntie. Still, sexiest shoes alive.
Purple one: super comfy and cute, also hand painted by me because I love peacocks
Black ones in the middle that you can't really see: Great things happen every time I wear them, too bad that there is so much ice that makes them unfeasible
Flowery Birks: I painted these and they are the most comfortable things ever.
Bowling style chucks: a close friend sent these and the 6 inch T-Bars from Brazil
Black 6 inch T-Bars: Make me around 6'2 tall, enough said
Shoes in the back that look black but are actually reflective Navy: A present from my father, they're Carlos Santana, who doesn't want Carlos Santana Shoes. Jesus.
These are not the shoes I wear the most, just my favorites. :c
Also, because everyone else got to do it.
My desk:
Part of my book shelf(I have a lot in storage):
Yes I am a 12 year old girl
EDIT::
I forgot to mention those are my grandfather's ashes on the shelf. I don't want you guys to think I have random jars of dust. I really am trying to find the perfect urn.
TheFuriousWombat:
So....here are my books that I have in my dorm room. They represent a decent percentage of the books I actually own but there's a good entire book shelf or two still at home that I couldn't bring up. I like having lots of books with me, even though I've read most of these and the ones I haven't read I won't have time to read, for the most part, until the summer when they're all back home. The ones on top of the book case are mostly art history, film theory and human rights theory, the top shelf is some more history/human rights writing and then all my Pynchon, Faulkner, McCarthy and Garcia Marquez books while the bottom shelf is my Roberto Bolano collection, some of my favorite books of poetry and the various novels. Overflow goes to the windowsill.
While I have some of the "classics" of various genres (No Logo, The Aeneid, Moby Dick, Brothers Karamazov, Discipline and Punish and so on), most of my non-novels are fairly nerdy and cover Latin American colonial history and the psychology of torture and a bunch of mostly leftist thinking on subjects of modernity and war and such.
