I didn't realize it was Clara either. I knew I recognized the name, but I think there was a boy here who posted once whose name was Jacob and went by Yacob or something. I only ever talked to her once or twice on Gabbly. She was nice! We talked about bras!
And Keiffer is a dude who is sometimes a jerk and it sometimes nice. He is usually pretty funny though either way! And he looks really good in suits. And most things. Someone posted that "Dirk Hopeless Rates You as a Poster" thread before; that might explain a little better. They are one in the same. Actually I think that maybe 25% of the people on this forum are actually Keiffer. He has probably achieved myth status here at this point, to be honest.
That thread just makes me sad and makes me miss a lot of people.

Double posting to say that really I just wanted people to read that thread again. Chuck got a "legend" but I got a "love you dearly" from Keiffer AND a "i adore her" from Chuck. This is because I was awesome once.

If you're unsure as to how much of an asshole HST could be, I humbly recommend you read Ralph Steadman's excellent memoir, The Joke is Over, which aside from being supremely entertaining also contains a lot of Dr. Thompson's correspondences where he is a total and utter cunt for no reason whatsoever.
It's pretty great.

I know HST was a douchebag, one of my good friends parents ran the Woody Creek Tavern in aspen for years, were close personal friends of his, and are full of stories about what a douche he was.
One time he enlarged a picture shot it with a shot gun, and splashed red paint on it, and gave it to them to cover his bar debt.
