QC Scavenger Hunt 2009: The Rescavenging.

Tyler:
Simple concept. The only tools required is some manner of camera or camcorder. The first person or team to collect all of the items, or with the most points by the end of the time period wins. You may team up with ONE other forumite. Items may be added depending on interest and active participation.

A few simple rules:
All photos must be taken for the scavenger hunt! No recycling. No photoshopping.
Post the pictures as you accomplish things. I will keep a running team score on this post.
If you can bend the rules in a creative way, that is ok!

The List! (things to photograph/record):

1. You arm wrestling a barista or bartender over the counter of their workplace (15 pts)
2. Grocery shopping in a bathrobe (5 pts)
3. A tiny sculpture of yourself made of edible materials (10 pts)
4. Playing a board game on some manner of public transit (bus, train, trolley, etc)  with another person (10 pts)
5. You reading a copy of the Lord of the Rings while wearing no less than 10 rings and a crown(5 pts)
6. A police officer throwing up the horns (15 pts)
7. You dressed in formal wear and waltzing (10 pts)
8. Your computer mouse properly dressed as an actual mouse (5 pts)
9. Your bed completely made with someone underneath all of the blankets(tidiness counts!) (5 pts)
10. Empty containers from two competing restaurant chains made to do battle with each other (10 pts)
11. You checking out a book at a public library with shoes on your hands (10 pts)
12. Someone carrying no less than 10 balloons (5 pts)
13. A long formal letter written to another forumite about the state of politics in Mongolia (10 pts)
14. A repeat from 2007: You tutoring someone in chemistry (10 pts)
15. You and no less than 3 other people doing the dance from Thriller (10 pts) (Bonus 10 pts if you are all in costume)
16. Someone showering with an umbrella and raincoat (10 pts)
17. A janitor/maintenance worker holding a sign saying "This is #17 on the scavenger hunt" (15 pts)
18. You in a dumpster (5 pts)
19. A personally baked cake with icing dedicating it to Peter Lorre (10 pts)
20. A sign saying "Out of Order: Do Not Use Until Exterminator Arrives" on a piece of office equipment at your work/school (10 pts)

Man, for some reason that list looks actually rather doable if I can manage to find a camera that isn't connected to my computer.

Eris:
Do we get double points if there are more than one person doing something? An example would be two people going shopping in bathrobes.
What will the prize be for the winners?

Also, you guys are all going down.

Shit Han, you and Ben are at such an advantage already. I'd get Jimmy on it but despite living in the same house we never actually see each other, and Gilead lives on the other side of Sydney. Buhhh.
(I'm totally up for #1 though, I am pretty sure I could stage a tournament even.)
