Most of the time when you put on music it is for bonin'.

You probably like to think of yourself as living on a spectrum, one side of which is filled with dreamy romanticism, late-night cuddles with a boy who can appreciate a romantic comedy (possibly starring Sandra Bullock, and definitely anything with Minnie Driver), and having love songs written for you.  However, the other side of the spectrum (which is the side you probably like to act as if you're on all the time) is filled with whiskey (straight, no ice, maybe even swigged from the bottle), jaded single men who don't say much, sit in smoky bars on weeknights, and just happen to be cooler than anyone in a 10-block radius (and are drastically underappreciated for it), and parties where drunken makeouts aren't awkward the next day because everyone's actually just in it for the reckless fun of it all.  Your I-know-how-to-have-fun persona is frustrating for the hopeless romantic side of you, because it's the side that all the boys seem to like (and the hopeless romantic side of you is the side that cares more about being liked), but you're starting to realize that the hopeless romantic side of you might be content to wait until the right guy comes along.  (Watch out for yourself if that romantic girl inside you ever feels as if her time has come ... she'll be setting herself up for a fall.)

--- Quote from: onewheelwizzard on 02 Feb 2009, 20:11 ---Gene, I tried to but then I realized that I already know enough about you that it wouldn't work.  I ended up drawing more on conversations I've had with you than on what the list itself was telling me.

It did, however, suggest that you are self-conscious about being white.  You should listen to some DJ Shadow or Del Tha Funkee Homosapien or something.  George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars, at least.

Is that supposed to make it better or worse?

onewheelwizzard:
What I meant by that was that he should listen to some music that doesn't make him feel like a poser (because those artists are OK for white people to like) but doesn't make him feel painfully white either (because those artists have cred with black people too).

OWW's stereotype of Liz is actually me, I think!

I kissed 53 boys in one night once!

It's even more accurate because of the last part because at this very moment I am heartbroken! Awesome! o/ OWW
