Tokio Hotel.

I was lurking around on some music forums and some people hatem and some people lovem. What do you thunk? I think they're alright...nothing extremely amazing. I thought the lead singer was beautiful and then my friends told me the reality, and I was slightly embarrassed. Bill can put makeup on better than some of my female classmates (and I want to find out what kinda shit makes his hair stick up like that. I've been always wanting to try out long spiky hair. Not like Bill's style. Yet.), I'll give him that, and he's still pretty to me. But I try to keep his aesthetics and his acoustics in separate categories. Nothing really shines out (I have yet to collect Tokio Hotel's discography) extremely brightly, but they're relatively young, and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I've heard some pretty nasty stuff about them, like how they were literally "created" by the record companies that sponsor them (outfit and all!) , and how none of their songs are truly written by the band members. I also heard that they copied a lot of old bands, or did stuff that older bands did better. I only heard about AFI, HIM, Hong Kong Counterfeit, and Bangkok Impact.

Most of the popularity of that group is based in the singer's looks. The whole twincest type fans are sickening.

God damnit, I didn't even know they were actually known abroad. I feel ashamed.

I really wish some of the truly amazing bands (which we have in Germany!) would get the attention Tokio Hotel is recieving.

Also basically everything bad you hear about them is true. They are a product of the industry to sell records and merchandise to pre-teen girls.

Their gimmick is their lead singer looks and sings like a woman.

Their music is also pretty shitty.
