So using a baby to solve your own problems is okay, but mercifully ending its fucked-up life (genetically, and otherwise) before it begins isn't?

And if it doesn't come out "fucked-up", is it still "mercifully ending its life"?

Both have points. It's not the fetus's fault how it was concieved. On the other hand, I'm not so sure being mommy's ticket to formal charges is the best start for a kid.
