Yep. Radiohead themselves had Jeff as an influence. I recall something about them saying he kickstarted them out of writers-block for The Bends. Writing Fake Plastic Trees the night after a Buckley show or something.  :-o

The dude is already dead and he was hardly without influences of his own. There's no call for blaming Snow Patrol on the poor guy.

i don't get the hate for them tbqh.  i'm not a huge fan or anything, but having ripped my mum's snow patrol albums to my laptop a while ago, i occasionally find myself giving them a listen.  they're not bad at all tbh.
