I really like Josie Long. There are funnier comedians out there, but she's pretty much completely adorable and she manages to be really funny without taking any cheap shots or being mean about anyone.

Bill Bailey is brilliant live, his wackiness just adds to his jokes.
Also, Ben Bailey [deadpan american stand-up] and Stephen Lynch [i know its musical but he still performs as a comedian].

No particular order. I tend to enjoy lady comedians a lot, which I guess is why I did it for a while, but there are some really funny men in the comedy business, too.
