I went and saw this the other day and man I was really disappointed. I mean I don't even have a high standard for these kind of things, I enjoyed the Fantastic Four films, and Daredevil for fuck's sake. I kept waiting for it to be good and it was constantly just short of being any good. The acting wasn't even bad!! The story was just awful and for some reason (and this is what I cannot get my head around) the CGI was dogshit. I don't know what the hell happened because in the other X-Men films the CGI was more than acceptable so what the hell went wrong here? It's not as if the budgets for the films were that different either!

Fuck me that movie was just a big disappointment. I'll probably see it again to find out if it has any kitsch value but I kind of doubt it.

Joseph:
No Country For Old Men

Alex C:
Yes, because after the first three X-Men movies people are totally expecting the Wolverine movie to be along the lines of Silence of the Lambs or No Country For Old Men. It's a comic book movie and Wolverine solo shots have all been about as bright and cheery as Punisher runs. And we all know how well the Punisher movie went over.
