I've seen this happen; it's funny stuff. My mother once won 3 rifles, a shotgun, a $100 Cabela's gift certificate, a 27 inch screen television and an oak gun case from a Pheasants Forever charity dinner despite buying only 15 tickets. The best part is that she won all those prizes pretty much in a row right at the beginning of the night, so she had first pick of virtually all the good stuff; the only truly valuable thing she didn't get was first pick from the litter of a champion golden retriever (contingent on an interview). The amount of amusement people found from this ebbed and flowed throughout the night, with relative silence by the 3rd item. Still, things quickly turned jovial again once several people we knew started good naturedly yelling out cheap items she should choose. I'll never forget when my uncle got the ball rolling by yelling "Take the cookbook!" as my mom sized up a several hundred dollar Benelli semi-auto.

does it disturb anyone else that someone won guns from a raffle?
a raffle for a charity that conserves pheasant habitat so then you can shoot them?
(i am not trying to get into any debate here, just found it amusing/odd)

During a school assembly, the principal was going on about who did the best in whichever subject for last term's exams. I was talking to my friend and ignoring him until he called my name for getting 100% on the Math exam.
I got a medal (That totally defeated the purpose of the joke).
I don't think I've really won anything (I'm not a special boy), but I have a friend who won a $365 Tagan Black Pearl case at nVision in the entry raffle. That's pretty cool.
I'm going to start doing things now.

When I was 7 I went to stay at my grandmother's house for a couple days. I entered a colouring contest put on by a grocery store called Knechtels and I won a VHS tape of the movie Camp Nowhere (boo-ya). I think maybe my grandma just bought me the VHS though to make me feel good about myself.
