Last night's show was the very first time I've ever watched a late night show, and I must say, I've really been missing out.

Last night freaked me out because the graphics were so shiny. I'm not used to Conan with a budget.

I keep watching expecting it to be more Leno-esque and...it's...not. It's still Conan. It's awesome.

I think the writers are still giving Conan Leno-esque jokes that fall completely flat, but Conan and Andy save it by being inherently funny. Like, last night Conan's gesturing ("Bread... sausage... mustache") was so much funnier than the actual writing, and it felt like he had to keep cutting short his riffing to deal with the written material.
I can't wait 'til he's established enough to get the show fully in sync with his personal sense of humor.
