No matter whether you were raised by someone who is attracted to the same sex or if you were even surrounded by homosexual people there are many people who have different opinions and to be honest, i couldn't see any way of that original post being sarcastic anyway.
NB. There is this smilie :roll: that is better if you are trying to be sarcastic. The eye rolling means it should not be taken seriously.

Since I mainly post from my phone, animations don't work. So the rolling eye smilie just looks completely content, or like he's about to eat a big brownie or something.
Anyway, dude, one of my best most closest friends ever is jewish. He means the world to me. I would never ever walk into a roomful of strangers and be all "man, what is it with jews? All being cheap as fuck and controlling our media and shit. Fucking holocaust." Hell, I wouldn't do it around my friends. I'm pretty sure my friend would fucking slap me if I said it.
