Holy shit STEVE!

a menage a trois doesn't count as an orgy.
Besides, a Marten, Sven and Steve threesome would be more interesting... in a shark jumping perspective, of course.

True, but it'd be a lot less fun to watch

I've been thinking that Marten's dissatisfaction with his lack of direction seems to be spreading into his relationship with Dora. He tells Steve it's great in a very meh sort of way.

Tortura's scar is a dueling scar. Bad guys in old novels often had thick German accents and dueling scars from their fencing days at Heidelberg.
Nice to see that the old trope is still around.

Or he might be avoiding yelling "It's grrreattt!" (so to speak) to a friend who's been harshly dumped. Kind of like saying, "Nya, nya, nah nyaa, nyaa, I make good choices. All of yours suck!"
Remember, Marten doesn't know Steve has post-breakup alcoholic delusions of being Derek Flint. Or maybe Michael Corben.
