As for Meena and Dave, that's exactly what I would have expected from them. Nor would I be surprised if Meena called the engagement off next week. She seems batshit crazy to me. It may be Dave proposed in order to 'save' Steve from her.

That would be an amazing little story arc.
Now we just have to ask ourselves whether Marten is less than enthusiastic about his relationship for Steve's sake, or if he's doing it unconsciously and deep down doesn't have that much enthusiasm for it any more.

In the second panel, the guy in the doorway is tailing Steve. Steve knows this.
