Good bad movies
Dimmukane:
Not the same at all. Plus, Ichi the Killer was never 'bad', just weird. Compared to Riki-Oh, Ichi had a HUGE budget. Or at least much better production values.
Good bad movies are:
Things Peter Jackson did before LOTR
A sizeable chunk of zombie movies, including, but not limited to:
Hide and Creep
Dead and Breakfast
Undead (if only because of Marion's character)
Undead or Alive (starring Chris fucking Kattan)
Hellsground (the first Pakistani movie to feature excessive gore, and was essentially a ripoff of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and any zombie movie you care to name)
Fuck me, I've seen too many to remember. Likewise, there are lots of terrible ones here.
Game of Death II (A Bruce Lee movie without Bruce Lee, probably the best of many such films)
Delta Force 2 (Chuck Norris in his heyday)
Aw jesus why is my memory failing me now. I spent more or less a year watching movies like this.

Gold Raiders
Guys...see this movie! It's only on VHS but god damn is it awesomely bad. It's set in Thailand but with a lot of Americans on the cast. The Americans speak English. The Thai actors are clearly speaking Thai and are dubbed in English. In other words...the actors didn't know what they were saying to each other! Yes! This involves a plane being shot down full of gold over the jungle. A US/Thai special forces team tries to beat an evil Thai general to the gold. People get beaten up for no reason. Giant fish are hunted. Massive, laser shooting vampire bats guard a cave that must be crossed. The acting? Hilarious! The characters? Preposterous! Virtually every scene in the move? Absurd and nonsensical! It's probably my all time favorite 'so bad it's good' movie. Plus they sell it on amazon for really cheap. It's worth it!

I just cannot enjoy that film at all, even in a "so bad it's good" way. It's just awful. I'll keep getting my on-the-cheap sci-fi kicks from Dark Star.
