Album Elimination Game - NOMINATION Thread

mberan42:
Ok, decided to take it upon myself, (mostly 'cause I don't feel like going back to work). As per this thread, we're rehashing the old game (can be found on the Quiki, link forthcoming). This time we're eliminating albums.

Rules
[*]You may nominate up to ten albums
[*]One album per band
[*]No multiple-nominations (e.g., no nominating Bat Out of Hell ten times)
[*]Please italicize the album names and leave the artist name plain (or bold)
[*]Keep the conversation to the other thread if at all possible. (Ha!)
[*]You have until 20:00 GMT on 23 March 2009 to get your nominations in. (Time may be adjusted based on whatever we arbitrarily decide upon.)

Rules may be modified also as per whatever we need to adjust them for.

Edit #1 - I probably should have mentioned these:
[*]At the end of the designated time, the sixty-four (64) albums with the most nominations will make up the bracket. Rules for the bracket placement will be determined at a later time (i.e., when I have time to figure it out and don't have to read 100+ pages for my ethics class, or when I can look up the rules for the old tournament. It probably has to do with something like the number of initial nominations it gets, etc.)
[*]If, at the end of the designated nomination time, there are not enough albums with multiple nominations, the bracket may be reduced to 32.
[*]If, in the event of a massive amount of tying (tie-ing?) albums (40 albums with 2 votes each) that puts the bracket over the designated 64-album bracket, a fair and decisive way of culling the list down will happen. I've not determined that yet. (Again, I'll look at the rules for the old tournament.)
[*]You MAY change your votes, but please EDIT your original post. Any extra posts in this thread will be ignored. This ain't Chicago.
