Music you can't listen to anymore
Thrillho:
I don't think it's fair to lump the Deftones in with the nu-metal movement. Deftones were always more interesting than that (admittedly not hard, but still).

Well, this is basically what happened with Leonard Pierce's story. Back in September, my best friend, which I had a crush on for about 2 years, and I joked about silly stuff, and it came to her mind that I should "marry her" (You know teenage silliness). We've grown closer than ever during a week or so and she told me she felt weird about me (read: She told me she thought she was in love with me), I said that I felt the same way about her. The next day, we had a school outing with our science class. For an entire day, we were always together, cuddling and stuff. That's when Your Arms Around Me by Jens Lekman came on my MP3. I was incredibly happy with her, but that night, we were both on MSN and she told me she loved me, but felt too weird about that situation, so she didn't want to continue that relationship and she wanted to come back to our previous "best friends relationship". It really, really bummed me out but I said that I respected her decision and that I wanted to stay her best friend too.
I love Jens Lekman's music, but that's the only song I can't listen to anymore. Whenever I hear the first notes, I change the song. I never deleted it though.

I have a huge list of bands I don't listen to anymore. Top names are as follows:
Panic! at the Disco, Boys Like Girls, Anberlin, My Chemical Romance, The Used, Underoath, Atreyu...The list continues, but you get the idea. I had shitty taste in music.
That said: I can't listen to songs by Dashboard Confessional anymore without stewing in angst due to a failed relationship with a girl who, in retrospect, I didn't even like all that much.
Patrick:
About 1/4 of Led Zeppelin's catalogue (specifically: later years and Coda) is unlistenable to me. I guess I stopped with that "lol i liek weird stuff cause its sooooooo random" kick that I had when I was 14.

Used to have a shitty taste in music, too. Can't listen to Staind or Breaking Benjamin because I now know how much they suck.
Somehow, I wish that were more depressing.
