Scandanavian War Machine:
Akron/Family uses a banjo quite a bit on their album "Love Is Simple" Not as much on their others.

O'Death is another pretty good band that regularly uses a banjo, if you can get past the singer's voice.

oops i forgot about Mr. Bear. he uses banjo quite regularly.

his album "These Machines" is in the MF thread and it's fantastic. it amazes me that one 20 or 21 year old kid could play so many different instruments so well, AND write such clever and moving lyrics.
